Technical Support

At Del Norte we still regard ourselves as an old fashioned service company where the customer is important. We never sell the customer a product without being able to provide the necessary support if things go wrong. We offer high quality round the clock technical support for the complete range of  products we supply.  If you have a problem with any of our equipment you can count of us being around to help 24/7.

Service and Repair

We operate a return to workshop repair facility for all equipment supplied. We can also provide field service personnel throughout the UK. In addition to supporting the current product range we also provide full support for older equipments such as early Trisponder systems and can also advise on a range of upgrade options.

Training

We run a variety of training courses here at our UK site in Swindon or can organise courses in the field as required. Courses are for operators or maintainers or a combination of both.

Courses currently available are:

DGPS Operator/Maintainer Training Course - This course can be held on site at Swindon or world-wide at the customers premises as required. In many cases it is better to run the course at the customers premises using the customers equipment in the true working environment. The training course covers the theory and operation of GPS system and the problems that can occur in the field due to incorrect operating techniques. The maintenance section of the training course is covered in conjunction with the equipment handbooks and the test equipment available on-site. A full test and operation of the system is covered during the course. The main thrust of the training course is practical hands-on using the equipment rather than classroom based theory.

Hydrographic Peripheral Training Course -  Software such as HypackMax and Chesapeake . Again this course can be run anywhere to suit the needs of the customer. Course covers Loading of the program to the final chart, specifically targeting at interfacing the particular equipment used by the customer. Again this course is very much a hands-on course with the minimum of theory. Course duration is dependent upon the number of students and their particular ability.
